What post would you like to teach in and why?:
Potions

What experience do you have in this area?:
Well, I used to tutor my cousins a lot on science (I guess it's relevant to Potions). And besides that, I spend a lot of time on HP sites to search on information about Potions.

How often can you be active for:
Whenever you need me. The holidays started already so I am free everyday.

Example of a lesson:

Professor Ashley walked into the class and smiled at everyone. Apart from being excited to teach her passion to students, she had planned the lesson very well. She stayed up until late last night to prepare for the lesson.

"Hello, class, my name is Ashley, and I am your Potions Master," she introduced herself. "Now, before I begin the lesson, is there anyone who can tell me the importance of Potions in daily life?"

A student shot up her hand and said, "Potions can be used as an antidote and a poison. I find it amazing that by mixing different types of ingredients, you either end up with an antidote or a poison."

"Correct, but not so accurate. Well, Potions teaches you how to focus on something. Because one silly mistake, and the potion will be a poison instead of an antidote. So a focused mind is important in Potion Making."

Another student shot his hand and said, "Most potions don't require a wand, so it's undetectable. So if you'd like to attack the enemy, potions is the best way. Only someone with excellent skills can detect symptoms of a poison right away."

"Correct. Now, for your first lesson, I am going to teach you how to brew the Shrinking Solution. Can anyone name me the ingredients needed for the Shrinking Solution?" Prof. Ashley asked.

"Daisy roots," a student answered.

"Correct, and make sure the daisy roots are chopped evenly before they're used," Prof. Ashley said. "Anymore?"

"Skinned shrivelfig."

"Correct. And the other ingredients are sliced caterpillars, one rat spleen and a dash of leech juice. Remember, adding too much leech juice or too many rat spleens can cause the potion to turn orange instead of bright acid green. You don't want to make your potion a poison," Prof. Ashley told the class.

As the students began to take out their ingredients, Prof Ashley spoke again. "Wait! Now, who can tell me what are the effects of the Shrinking Solution?"

"It makes things shrink in sizes and apparently reversing the ageing process as well," a condifent Ravenclaw answered.

"Ten points to Ravenclaw!" Prof. Ashley smiled. "And remember, the leech juice and rat spleen must be added once the potion is almost done! If you put it in too early, it would spoil the potion!"

Prof. Ashley walked around the classroom, correcting mistakes here and there.

"I see many of you had done chopping your daisy roots, now add it into your couldron along with the sliced caterpillar. If it's correct, the potion will begin to show shades of green," Prof. Ashley announced.

Prof. Ashley walked to the board and wrote down:

1) Chop daisy roots - remember to chop evenly!
2) Add chopped daisy roots into the couldron with sliced caterpillars.
3) Stir three times, clockwise.
4) Add in skinned shrivelfig. Potion should be apple green by now and issuing white smoke.
5) Stir eight times anti-clockwise. Once the smoke stop coming out, add in one rat spleen and a dash of leech juice - careful not to put too much!
6) If potion turns bright acid green, stir twice anti-clockwise, then twice clockwise.
7) Your potion is done! Fill it in a flask and label it!

"Once the potion is done, we will test it on the next class," Prof. Ashley winked to the excited students.

About half an hour later, most students managed to finish their potion. While they're packing up, the bell rang.

"Before you leave, please list down all potions ingredients beginning with the letter 'A'. To be handed during the next class," Prof. Ashley said loudly. "Any questions, you can ask me."

"Bye Professor," several students said to her.

"Thank you class," Prof Ashley smiled, feeling as if she was on the top of the world. The class was excellent and she was proud of herself!

Congratulations, you sound like an excellent Potions teacher, I would be silly not to employ you for this Post. I will update your current status as soon as possible and give your own Office.

What post would you like to teach in and why?
Dark Arts

What experience do you have in this area?
i have tought it on varius sites

How often can you be active for:
every day!

Example of a lesson:

----
The Professor walked in the classroom, waiting on her students... they all entered one by one greeting...

Once the majority of the class was there she decided to start the lesson... "Well, I am your new Dark Arts Teacher..." (assuming i am ;) ) "last lesson you learned about the speed spell... this lesson I brought a dark creature to the class to share, not to wory though, this one is pretty much harmless, the ministry has classified it with only 'XXX' " Suzume explained

She turned around and wrote the Ministry's Classify scale on the board:
X
XX
XXX
XXXX
XXXXX

"you may have guessed already, XXXXX is the most dangerous, and X is practicly harmless, for example:" she turned and wrote on the board again,

X= Flobberworm
XXXXX= Acromantula

"And a flobberworm is only dangerous if your Goyle." Suzume said laughing

"XXX This designation is that given to a creature by the Ministry of Magic's Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. Generally it indicates how dangerous the creature is to wizardkind, although some creatures earn their rating for other reasons, such as difficulty in capturing or training them. This Ministry rating is not known for all magical creatures included in the Bestiary, only those which appear in the book Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them." Suzume said to her class"now, who can guess what i have in here?" she said indicating to the tank on her desk.

"A flobber worm?" one student said

"not exactly, remember, we are in DADA, that is care of magical creatures, and this one is rated XXX" Suzume replied

The students shook their heads, so Suzume uncovered the tank. Inside was an animal shaped a bit like a frog, it was a fish with long rubbery legs and webbed feet

"This is a 'Plimpy" Suzume said as some students laughed, and she gave them a reproachfull look "Can anyone tell me what their caracteristics are?" She asked, as a students hand whiped up.

"Yes?" Suzume said nodding..."If you happen to spot a plimpy with its legs tied in a knot, you will know that merpeople are around" The student responded...

"Very good!!" Suzume said "10 pts to ___!! here is a picture."

Suzume looked over to the clock and said: "now, it's almost time to leave, so copy your homework please." as she wrote on the board:

Homework:
I want to know what kind of dark creaturs, spell, jinxes, or enchantments you would like to learn from me, and what things you already know about DA -- To be handed in a week from now.'

She turned and packed her things, saying "thats all for today, class dismissed." and walked out the door.

ok, that didnt sound too Dark arts-tsh but because thats my lesson from FP and i dont have alot of time right now so dont judge that against me!!
